February 14, 2023 – (Minneapolis, MN) Engstrom Lee announced today that Charlie Gokey has joined the firm as a partner. Charlie's significant plaintiff-side investigation and litigation experience will strengthen the firm’s practice representing workers and retirees through class actions. Throughout his career, Charlie has prosecuted large-scale fraud and other corporate malfeasance, most recently with a focus on the healthcare industry. He has helped recover more than $150 million on behalf of his clients and has experience at all levels of the federal judiciary, as well as in state trial and appellate courts throughout the United States.

Most recently, Charlie was a partner at a national law firm where he focused on healthcare fraud. He has also practiced at an international law firm in Washington, D.C., and served as a federal law clerk in the Eastern District of Virginia. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A., cum laude, from Carleton College.
